36.01.02.06    Subcabinet Fund

To add a new appropriation on page 93 of the
printed bill (first reading file bill), to
provide funds to establish a pooled funding
account for Systems Reform Initiative (SRI)
services.

Federal Fund Appropriation

Provided that these appropriations may be
transferred to the Department of Budget
and Fiscal Planning by budget amendment
contingent upon the failure of SB 629 and
HB 948; and further provided that
additional appropriations may be
transferred by budget amendment, as
needed, from the Departments of Health
and Mental Hygiene, Human Resources,
and Juvenile Services, and the State
Department of Education.

36.01.02.07    Students with Disabilities

To become available immediately upon
passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 1995 to provide
funds for placing special education students
into non-public placements when the public
school systems are unable to provide the
necessary services.
