H.B. 230                                                       VETOES

(I) THE APPROPRIATE FORMS TO COMPLY WITH THE
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION, INCLUDING CHANGES OF
ADDRESS FORMS; AND

(II) THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETE AND FILE THE FORMS PRIOR
TO RELEASE.

(2) IF A SEX OFFENDER IS NOT SENTENCED TO A TERM OF
IMPRISONMENT IN A CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION OR OTHER FACILITY UNDER THE
JURISDICTION OF THE DEPARTMENT, BUT IS BEING SUPERVISED BY OR IS
OTHERWISE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF A DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT, AT THE
FIRST MEETING WITH THE SEX OFFENDER THE APPROPRIATE DIVISION OF THE
DEPARTMENT SHALL PROVIDE THE SEX OFFENDER WITH:

(I) THE APPROPRIATE FORMS TO COMPLY WITH THE
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS. OF THIS SECTION,. INCLUDING CHANGES OF

ADDRESS FORMS: AND

(II) THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETE AND FILE THE FORMS AT
THE TIME OF THE MEETING.

(D) (E) (1) REGISTRATION UNDER THIS SECTION CONSISTS OF A
STATEMENT SIGNED BY A CHILD SEX OFFENDER WHICH INCLUDES:

(I) THE CHILD SEX OFFENDER'S NAME, ADDRESS, AND PLACE OF
EMPLOYMENT, IF ANY;

(II) A DESCRIPTION OF ALL CRIMES, SPECIFIED IN SUBSECTION
(A)(2) SUBSECTION (A)(7) OF THIS SECTION, FOR WHICH THE CHILD SEX OFFENDER
WAS CONVICTED AND THE IDENTITY OF THE COURT WHERE THE CONVICTION WAS
ENTERED;

(III) THE DATE AND PLACE OF ANY CONVICTION DISCLOSED
UNDER ITEM (II) OF THIS PARAGRAPH;

(IV) A LIST OF ANY ALIASES THAT HAVE BEEN USED BY THE CHILD
SEX OFFENDER; AND

(V) THE CHILD SEX OFFENDER'S SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER;

(VI) THE FINGERPRINTS OF THE SEX OFFENDER; AND

(VII) A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE SEX OFFENDER.

(2) THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE SHALL OBTAIN A PHOTOGRAPH AND
FINGERPRINTS OF THE CHILD SEX. OFFENDER AND INCLUDE COPIES OF THE
PHOTOGRAPH AND FINGERPRINTS IN THE REGISTRATION STATEMENT.

(3) (I) WITHIN 3 DAYS PROMPTLY AFTER REGISTRATION IS
COMPLETED, THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT SHALL SEND A COPY OF
THE REGISTRATION STATEMENT TO THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
