Further, provided that $1,000,000 $500,000 of
this appropriation for advertising may not
be expended until the budget committees
receive a report on the Lottery Agency's
actions to educate and notify its players
about the programs available to treat
compulsive gambling and the budget
committees have had 45 days to review and
comment on the report. The committees
believe that the Lottery Agency should
explore the following options to address this
issue: printed notices on all lottery game
tickets, public service radio and television
advertising spots. The Lottery Agency in
conjunction with DHMH shall submit a
report to the budget committees on this
subject by October 1, 1995............................
