(P) (1) BEFORE THE COUNTY MAY DESIGNATE AN AREA WHOLLY OR PARTLY
WITHIN A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AS A SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT, THE GOVERNING
BODY OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION MUST GIVE ITS CONSENT TO THE
DESIGNATION.
(2) BEFORE THE COUNTY MAY DESIGNATE AN AREA WHOLLY OR PARTLY
WITHIN ANOTHER COUNTY SPECIFIED IN SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION, THE
GOVERNING BODY OF THE OTHER COUNTY MUST GIVE ITS CONSENT TO THE
DESIGNATION
(Q) BONDS ISSUED UNDER THIS SECTION ARE A SPECIAL OBLIGATION OF THE
COUNTY AND MAY NOT CONSTITUTE A GENERAL OBLIGATION DEBT OF THE COUNTY OR
A PLEDGE OF THE COUNTY'S FULL FAITH AND CREDIT OR TAXING POWER.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning
Counties and Municipal Corporations Prince George's County - Special Taxing Districts
- Taxing and Borrowing Authority for Developing and Financing Infrastructure
Improvements
FOR the purpose of authorizing the counties Prince George's County to exercise a
certain power certain powers granted to municipal corporations concerning the
creation of special taxing districts for developing and financing infrastructure
improvements under certain circumstances; permitting counties and municipal
corporations to act individually or jointly in exercising a certain power to create
special taxing districts for developing and financing special taxing districts under
certain circumstances; altering specifying the purpose for, the funding of, and
certain other provisions concerning the creation of a special taxing district for
developing and financing infrastructure improvements under certain circumstances;
authorizing counties and municipal corporations Prince George's County to impose
special taxes under certain circumstances; defining a certain term terms; and
generally relating to the authority of counties and municipal corporations Prince
George's County to create special taxing districts, impose certain taxes, and issue
certain debt for developing and financing infrastructure improvements.
