Ch. 533

but not limited to, undue individual hardship, or the population size of the county, the
city, or municipality. The Commission shall consider all such requests, and may grant any
modification, extension, or suspension of time it considers justified.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly was Art. 40A, § 6-501(b).

Former Art. 40A, § 6-501(b) is not retained in the Code because it is
apparently obsolete. However, it is transferred to the Session Laws to avoid
any inadvertent substantive effect that its repeal might have.

The only changes are in style.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Revisor's Notes and

enacted as a part of this Act.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That nothing in this Act affects

Act and every right, duty, or interest flowing from the statute, remains valid after the
effective date of this Act and may be terminated, completed, consummated, or enforced
as required or allowed by any statute amended, repealed, or transferred by this Act as
though the repeal, amendment, or transfer had not occurred. If the change in
nomenclature involves a change in name or designation of any State unit, the successor
unit shall be considered in all respects as having the powers and obligations granted the

SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the continuity of every
