SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 25-201(d) of Article - Transportation of the Annotated
Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 25-201(e).

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND,

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article - Transportation

25-201.                                                                                 

(D) (1) "LESSOR" MEANS A PERSON WHO REGULARLY LEASES OR OFFERS
TO LEASE MOTOR VEHICLES.

(2) "LESSOR" INCLUDES:

(I) AN ASSIGNEE OF LEASES; AND             

(II) A PERSON WHO DURING ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD OFFERS TO
LEASE 5 OR MORE MOTOR VEHICLES OR WHO IS ASSIGNED 5 OR MORE LEASES.
