18-311.

Any person aggrieved by a final decision of the [Superintendent] SECRETARY in a
contested case, as defined in § 10-201 of the State Government Article, may take an
appeal as allowed in Title 10, Subtitle 2 of the State Government Article.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This section is amended to reflect the status of the head of the Department of
State Police as the Secretary of a principal department of State government in
light of Chs. 165 and 166, Acts of 1994.

18-401.

(a) (3) The applicant for a license shall submit a copy of the bond to the
[Superintendent] SECRETARY with the license application.

(c) (1) If an employer's bond is cancelled, forfeited, or terminated by the
surety, the surety shall immediately notify the [Superintendent] SECRETARY.

(2) If a surety fails to notify the [Superintendent] SECRETARY as required
by this subsection, the bond shall continue in effect until the notice is given to the
[Superintendent] SECRETARY.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Subsections (a)(3) and (c) of this section are amended to reflect the status of
the head of the Department of State Police as the Secretary of a principal
department of State government in light of Chs. 165 and 166, Acts of 1994.

18-501.

A person may not engage, attempt to engage, or offer to engage in a business of
providing security systems services in the State unless licensed by the [Superintendent]
SECRETARY.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This section is amended to reflect the status of the head of the Department of
State Police as the Secretary of a principal department of State government in
light of Chs. 165 and 166, Acts of 1994.

18-503.

A person may not willfully make a false statement on any application form or other
document submitted to the [Superintendent] SECRETARY under this title.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This section is amended to reflect the status of the head of the Department of
State Police as the Secretary of a principal department of State government in
light of Chs. 165 and 166, Acts of 1994, which established the Department of
State Police as a principal department of State government.
