AN ACT concerning

Maryland Migratory Wild Waterfowl Stamp - Specifications

FOR the purpose of specifying certain characteristics of the Maryland Migratory Wild
Waterfowl Stamp and its affixation the affixing of the stamp to certain licenses.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 10-308.1(e) of Article - Natural Resources of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 10-308.1(f).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

10-308.1.

(a)     In addition to the consolidated hunting license, nonresident 3-day hunting
license, or resident or nonresident basic hunting license, a person hunting wild waterfowl
in the State first shall obtain a Maryland migratory wild waterfowl stamp.

(b)     (1) A Maryland migratory wild waterfowl stamp is not required of the
following:

(i) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, the owner
or tenant of farmland, the owner's or tenant's spouse and children, or the spouse of any
child who resides on the farmland, when hunting on that farmland. A tenant is a person
holding land under a lease, or a sharecropper who resides in a dwelling on the land, but
not an employee of the owner or tenant;
