Ch. 456 1995 LAWS OF MARYLAND Section 4-301.1 and 4-301.2 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Business Occupations and Professions 4-301. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this title, an individual shall be licensed by the (b) This section does not apply to: (1) a student while the student practices barbering in [a barber school that (2) a registered apprentice barber; or (3) an individual authorized in the discretion of the Board to practice 4-301.1. (A) (1) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION, A STUDENT (2) A STUDENT MAY PRACTICE BARBERING UNDER THIS SUBSECTION (I) IN THE COURSE OF THE PRACTICAL WORK REQUIRED AS PART (II) WHILE THE STUDENT IS UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF (III) IF THE INDIVIDUAL TO WHOM A SERVICE IS TO BE PROVIDED (B) (1) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION, A STUDENT (I) HOSPITAL; (II) NURSING HOME; OR - 2642 -
