SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions

11-101.

In Washington County, a County license or permit may not be issued or renewed
until the Washington County Treasurer and any municipal corporation in Washington
County in which the applicant does business certify that there are no delinquent
PERSONAL PROPERTY taxes due from the applicant to the County or municipal
corporation. The Washington County Commissioners, by majority vote, may waive this
requirement.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.
