(6) [TRAILER COACH SPACE - A] "TRAILER COACH SPACE" MEANS
A plot of ground within a trailer coach park designed for the accommodation of one [(1)]
trailer coach.
C. An occupancy tax shall be paid for each occupied trailer space.
(1) The tax shall be [:
(a) As of July 1, 1982: five dollars ($5.) per month.
(b) As of July 1, 1983: ten dollars ($10.) per month.
(c) As of July 1, 1984, and each year thereafter: fifteen dollars ($15.)
per month] $15 PER MONTH.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Code of Public Local
Laws of Charles County, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
published under the direction of the County Commissioners of Charles County, as
Division 1 of the Code of Charles County, Maryland, 1994, and any supplement to this
Code published under the direction of the County Commissioners of Charles County be
legalized and be deemed and taken in all courts of the State and by all public officials of
the State and of its political subdivisions, to be evidence of the public local laws of
Charles County in effect at the time of compilation.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the catchlines contained
in Division 1 of the Code of Charles County, Maryland, 1994, and in Chapter 492, Acts of
the General Assembly of 1990, which enacted the former Code of Public Local Laws of
Charles County, are not law and may not be considered to have been enacted as a part of
this Act or Chapter 492, Acts of 1990.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety, has
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is
enacted.
