(3) The limitations on liability contained in this subsection may not be
construed or applied to affect any immunities from civil liability or defenses established
by any other provision of the Code or available at common law to which the volunteer may
be entitled.
[(g)](H) Except as provided in subsection (e), [or] (f), OR (G) of this section, a
judgment in tort for damages against a county board employee acting within the scope of
employment, A COUNTY BOARD MEMBER ACTING WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE
MEMBER'S AUTHORITY, or a volunteer acting within the scope of the volunteer's services
or duties shall be levied against the county board only and may not be executed against
the county board employee, THE COUNTY BOARD MEMBER, or the volunteer personally.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning
Pension Law - Clarification
FOR the purpose of clarifying ambiguities and inconsistencies in the State pension laws;
clarifying the types of information that participating employers must submit to the
Board of Trustees of the State Retirement and Pension System; repealing a certain
duplicate provision of law prohibiting certain acts of falsifying records; clarifying
eligibility for certain special retirement benefits after 16 years of service; clarifying
the rights of members of the Judges' Retirement System to redeposit certain
withdrawn accumulated contributions plus interest; clarifying that a certain offset of
disability retirement payments includes interest received in connection with a
transfer; conforming certain disability retirement provisions that apply to the
Natural Resources Pension with those that apply to other State systems; clarifying
the procedures for electing to join the Optional Retirement Program and the
effective date of the elections; clarifying the procedures for participating employees
in the Optional Retirement Program to withdraw or transfer accumulated
contributions; and generally relating to clarifying the State pension laws.
