(F) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS SUBTITLE, A
HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION IS NOT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE
HOSPITALIZATION, LABORATORY, OR PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES AS PART OF ITS
BENEFIT PACKAGE MAY PROVIDE A LIMITED SET OF HEALTH BENEFITS IF:

(1) THE BENEFIT PACKAGE THE LIMITED SET OF HEALTH BENEFITS IS
FOR SUBSCRIBERS OR MEMBERS WHO ARE ENROLLED IN A COUNTY PROGRAM TO
PROVIDE HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS; AND

(2) THE HOSPITALIZATION, LABORATORY, OR PHARMACEUTICS
SERVICES ARE BEING DONATED TO THE SUBSCRIBERS OR MEMBERS BY A
PROVIDER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety, has
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is
enacted.

Occupational Safety and Health - Reporting of Fatalities and Accidents

FOR the purpose of altering the time frame for reporting occupational fatalities;
requiring the reporting of incidents involving the hospitalization of a certain
number of employees; and generally relating to accident reporting.
