Occurred: 1984-85 Supplement, and each subsequent supplement, and
inappropriately ratified by Ch: 6, Acts of 1990. Correction by the Baltimore
City Department of Legislative Reference in the 1994-95 Supplement is
ratified by this Act.

Article 20 - Somerset County

11-101.                                                                               

(a) For the purpose of encouraging the location of new industries in Somerset
County and for the purpose of encouraging the growth and development of factories,
manufacturing industries, fabricating or assembling facilities, industrial plants, and the
like in the County, the County Commissioners may exempt from County taxation
factories, manufacturing industries, fabricating or assembling facilities, industrial plants,
and the like, and the land, machinery, and tools [with] WHICH those facilities [used]
USE, and stock in trade or products of [it] THE FACILITIES THAT ARE located in the
County, as provided in this section.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Incorrect word usage in Article 20, § 11-101(a) of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland.

Occurred: Ch. 737, Acts of 1976.

Article 22 - Washington County

6-209.

(a) (2) The bonds issued under the provisions of this title, their transfer, and
the income from them, including any profit made on their sale by any person other than
the initial purchaser, may not be taxed by the State or any of its political subdivisions, or
by any town or incorporated municipality or any other public agency within the State.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Misspelling in Article 22, § 6-209(a)(2) of the Public Local Laws of
Maryland.                                                                                                 

Occurred: Ch. 523, Acts of 1993. Correction by the Department of
Legislative Reference in the August 1994 Supplement is ratified by this Act.
