23.28.00                       CANAL PLACE PRESERVATION AND

DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
(Allegany County)

(A) Canal Place Historic Preservation District. Acquire property,
design, renovate, and construct public improvements within the
Canal Place Historic District, provided that no funds may be
expended until:

(1)     A Master Plan has been developed for the entire project;

(2)     Program plans for each project to be funded from this
appropriation have been approved;

(3)     A written commitment from the federal government detailing the
amount and timing of federal funding for this project has been
obtained;

(4)     The Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority has
provided this information to the budget committees; and

(5)     The budget committees have reviewed and commented on this
information or 45 days have elapsed from the date the information

was provided to the budget committees............................................

30.01.04 PUBLIC LANDS AND FORESTRY - FORESTS AND PARKS

(A)    Rocky Gap State Park. Provide a portion of the funds to construct
a hotel/conference center and golf course at Rocky Gap State Park
and design and construct, relocation of existing picnic facilities.
This appropriation shall be subject to the same terms and
conditions as provided in Section 1(3)(A)(3)(d)(v) of Chapter 471
of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1991, as amended by
Chapter 4 of the Acts of the First Special Session of 1992 and by
this Act (Allegany County)................................................................

(B)    Shore Erosion Control Fund. Provide funds to design and
construct shore erosion control measures at State parks.
Expenditures for any of the following projects may not exceed the
amount listed below for that project by more than 7.5% without
notification to the General Assembly................................................

Authorization is given for projects at the following State parks:

Elk Neck State Park (Cecil County)....................628,000

Greenwell State Park (St. Mary's County)..........281,000

Point Lookout State Park (St. Mary's County)...200,000
