425 and I the said John Hawkins for my self and my heirs executors or administrators all of the said goods and chattels & other premises unto the the said James Baynard his executors administrators and assigns against me the said John Hawkins my executors administrators and against all and every other person or persons Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all which said goods & chattels I the said Jno Hawkins have put the said James Baynard in full possession by delivering him 1 Gray Horse in the name of the whole To be released and the payment of One Hundred & five dollars & interest thereon till paid &c Test Charles Corkran his John + Hawkins (L S) mark Maryland Dorchester County To wit on this 11.th day June in the year 1852 Personally appeared before me a Justice of the peace in and for same County the within named John Hawkins and acknowledged the within Bill of Sale to be his act and deed according to the purport True intent and meaning and at the same time and in the Came before me James Baynard and made oath on the on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set forth in this Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth according to the Act of Assembly made and provided Sworn before Acknowledged before Charles Corkran John D Farquharson Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred and twenty seven dollars and twenty four cents current money to me in hand paid by John D Farquharson of the same county and state aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Freeborn L Garretson do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said John D Farquharson his executors administrators and assigns all the goods household stuff implements and furniture hereinafter particularly mentioned that is to say four Beds bedsteads and furniture two mahogany Tables one cherry Table One pine Table One dozen Cane seat chairs one dozen stool chairs two mahogany spring seat chairs one cane back chair One mahogany frame looking glass four Carpets and carpet strips One stair carpet & Rods One pair Brass andirons One dressing Bureau and glass one side Board One work stand one lot Queens ware Three hogs One Cow one lot Bacon one ward robe one toilet table five linen Curtains two window Blinds One Canvass bottom rocking Chair one Bible (2 vol) four venetian Blinds Del.d to Jno D.
