the occupation of the said Andrew Opher To have and to hold all and singular
the said goods chattels household stuff and furniture and other the premises
above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said John
R Martin his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Andrew
Opher for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular
the said goods chattels household stuff and furniture and other the premises
unto the said John R Martin his executors administrators and assigns against
me the said Andrew Opher my executors and administrators and against all
and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and
forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods chattels
household stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said Andrew
Opher have put the said John R Martin in full possession by delivering
to him the said John R Martin one riding saddle at the sealing and
Delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby
bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said
John R Martin as aforesaid         In witness whereof the said Andrew Opher hath
hereunto set his hand and seal on this fourteenth day of February in the year
One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty two                     his

State of Maryland Dorchester County To wit.   Be it remembered that
on this fourteenth day of February in the year one thousand eight hundred
and fifty two before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in
and for the said County personally appeared Andrew Opher Grantor in the
aforesaid Instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act
and deed according to the true intent and meaning of the same and according
to the acts of assembly, in such cases made and provided   And now also
at the same time and place before me the aforesaid Justice of the
Peace personally appeared John R Martin Grantee in the aforesaid
Bill of sale and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that
the Consideration set forth in the said Bill of Sale is true and bona fide
as therein set forth            Acknowledged and sworn before

John W Lecompt      Be it remembered and it is hereby certified
Exd   from      90      that the following Bill of sale was received
Charles Lecompt      and recorded on the 24th day of February 1852 to wit
                                        Know all men by these presents that
I Charles Lecompt of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and forty six
dollars Current money to me in hand paid by John W Lecompt
