two hoes one wheat fan Two thousand pounds of Blade fodders more or less
fifteen bushels of oats more or less all the poultry that I own 3 beds bedsteads
and furniture Six Chairs two tables one writing desk one iron pot one
Cupboard 2 spiders 1 oven  To Have and to hold the above described
property as above bargained and sold unto the said William Mobray
his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, against me the said John
W. Mobray my heirs executors and administrators and against all
and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant
and forever defend.               In testimony whereof I John W Mobray
have hereto set my hand and affixed seal this Twenty fourth day
of January Eighteen hundred and fifty two

Maryland Dorchester County To wit               On the 24th day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty two personally appeared before me a justice of the peace
in and for said County the within named john W Mobray and
acknowledged the within Bill of sale to be his act and deed according
to the purport true intent and meaning of the same and at
the same time came before me William Mobray within mentioned
and made oath of the holy Evangely of Almighty God that the
Consideration set forth in this bill of sale is true and bona fide
as therein set forth according to the act of assembly made and provided

Robert F. Tubman         Be it remembered and it is hereby
       Exd from      70      Certified that the following bill of sale
Peter Fletcher; negro     was received and recorded on the 16th day
of June 1852 to wit.            Know all men by these presents that
I peter fletcher of Dorchester County and state of Maryland for in
Consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars current money to me
in hand paid by Robert F. Tubman of the county and state of aforesaid
and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do
hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain sell unto the said Robert F Tubman
his executors administrators and assigns 2 beds and bed steads and
furniture 6 stool Chairs 2 iron pots 1 frying pan two tables one
bucket 1 hand mill 4 axes 3 hoes 2 spades 1 Harrow three ploughs
one Cart 2 red Young steers with white backs and belly Jake & Dimers
