of her said husband whether she does sign seal execute ^and^ acknowledge
the said Instrument of writing voluntarily and freely and without
being induced to do so by fear or threats of or ill usage by her
husband or fear of his displeasure the said Sarah H Thomas acknowledges
that she does sign seal execute and acknowledge the same
willingly and freely and without being induced to do so by fear
and threats of or ill usage by her said husband or fear of his displeasure
and we d farther certify that we are satisfied of our own knowledge
that the said Eliza Rawleigh John L. Thomas and Sarah
H Rawleigh his wife and James A Stewart who are named and described
as and who profess to be the party grantors in the said Instrument and
the same persons who executed and acknowledged the same before me

William E. Roszell      Be it remembered and it is hereby certified
    Exd   from  85      that the following Bill of sale was received and
John E. Roszell         recorded on the 8th day of January 1852 to wit
                                                  Know all men by these presents that
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and Eighty Eight
dollars and ninety six Cents current money to me in hand paid
by William Roszell of said County in the said state at and before
the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the
said John E Roszell do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto the said
William E Roszell his executors administrators and assigns all the following
property To Wit One Horse, Jim, one man Fanny one ditto & colt
one yoke Oxen 3 Cows one ditto 1 calf one yearling 50 Blls Corn 3 stack
fodder 2000 lbs Blades 1 stack straw 1 lot corn cases 4 ploughs 5 Harrows
3 sets gear 1 ox Cart & yoke 1 Horse Cart & harness 1 scythe & cradle 1 Carriage
& Harness 4 Beds Bedsteads and furniture 3 Tables 3 Stands 1 Beaureu 1
Cupboard 1 Wardrobe 1 Clock 1 Safe ½ doz silver table spoons  ½ doz
Tea ditto 3 pair and irons 1 fender 3 pair shovels and tongs 2 pots 2 spiders
1 doz Chairs 3 Rocking ditto 1 looking glass 1 Tea Sett spades & Shovels
2 forks all and singular which said property are now in the occupation
of the said John E Roszell   To Have and to hold all and singular
the said property and other the premises above bargained and sold
or mentioned and intended so to be to the said William E Roszell
his Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said John
E Roszell for myself my heirs Executors and administrators all and
Singular the said property and other the premises unto the said
William Roszell his Executors administrators and assigns against
