382 Looking Glasses, three carpets, one Cooking stove, one parlour stove, and all the rest and residue of my household and Kitchen Furniture, farming utensils and personal property of any kind and discription whatever also thirty seven Desks, six maps, six Long Benches Two circular Benches one secretary one stove and two Brack Bords and all the rest and residue of the furniture used in the school room now occupied and used by the said James W Connor and all which said Goods and chattels are now in the posession of the said James W Conner. To have and to hold the said before described Goods and chattels unto the said Richard R Conner his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use and benefit against me the said James W. Conner and my heirs and assigns according to the true intent and meaning of these presents. In Witness whereof the said James W Conner has hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal this sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty one Signed sealed and delivered in James W Conner (Seal) presence of James Rea State of Maryland Dorchester County st Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one personally appeared James W Connor party residue in the above and foregoing Bill of Sale And acknowledged the same to be his act and deed and delivered the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned according to the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided. Also on the same day and year aforesaid personally appeared before me Richard R Conner the party residue named in the foregoing Bill of Sale and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned in the said Bill of Sale is true and Bona fide as therein set fourth Acknowledged and sworn before me a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid James Rea Stanley J Richardson Be it remembered and it is hereby from Ex.d Certified that the following deed was received Paid James Busick and recorded this 18th day of November 1851 Know all men by these presents that I James Busick of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars current money to me in hand paid by the said Stanly Richardson of the County and state aforesaid at and afore the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which I the said James Busick do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Stanly Richardson his heirs Executors administrators and assigns my negro man Dennis Keene aged about Deld to Stanley Richardson March 15.th 1852 |
