336 William Jackson Be it remembered that the following Bill of from Ex.d sale was recorded on the 24.th day of April 1851. B. D. Jackson {Stamp} Know all men by these presents that {one dol} I, Benjamin D. Jackson, of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland, for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred & sixty five dollars, current money, to me in hand paid by William Jackson, of the same State & County, at and before the sealing & delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the said Benjamin D. Jackson, do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold & delivered, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell & deliver, unto the said William Jackson, his Executors, Administrators and Assigns, the following property, Tow it: one Sorrel Mare one Saddle & Bridle one Yoke of Oxen & Yoke One young Steer Two white Cows one Heifer one Steer Yearling one Bull Calf one Boar one Sow Two Hogs Six Shoats one wheat Fan One Horse Cart & Harness one Ox Cart one wheel barrow Two Plows & gear one Harrow one Roller Two Axes Four Hoes Three Spades Three Pitch forks Two Rakes one lot of Lumber one lot of Locust Posts One Chicken Coop Law Library containing forty volumes one High Post Bedstead, Bed, Bollster, Pillows, furniture and Mattress one Trunock Bed stead, Mattress & furniture one Mahogany Dining Table one workstand one Bureau one Bible stand & Bible one ward robe Two Looking Glasses Six Cane seat Chairs Two Cane seat Rocking Chairs one Office Table Two Pine Tables Two wash stands one Painting Fox chase & frame Two plaited Candle sticks and snuffers and Crop of Oats seeded To have and to hold all & singular the said property, above bargained & sold, or mentioned & intended so to be unto the said William Jackson, his Executors, Administrators and Assigns forever. In Witness whereof I, the said Benjamin D. Jackson, have hereto subscribed my name, and affixed my seal this 10.th day of April 1851.
