the said Richard Rhodes in full possession by delivering to him the said Richard
Rhodes the key of our Store house with all the goods therein and they in the
name of all the rest of the property above mentioned at the sealing & delivery
of these presents in the name of the whole property hereby bargained and sold or
mentioned and intended to be so unto the said Richard Rhodes as aforesaid.
In Witness whereof we the said Sylvester H. Rhodes and Benjamin W. Rhodes
have hereunto set our hands and seals this 25.th day of October Eighteen

before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said County appears
Sylvester H. Rhodes and Benjamin W. Rhodes and Acknowledges the foregoing
writing to be their Act and deed according to the true intent & meaning
thereof and the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided.  Witness my
hand                                                                              W.m Spear   J. P.


State of Maryland      Be it remembered that the following Bond was
       from      Ex.d      recorded on the 9.th day of November 1847, To wit:
Willis Hurlock                        To the Clerk of Dorchester County Court
    and others             I hereby resign the Office of Constable for District N.o 2
                                 in Dorchester County.   Witness my hand this 9.th day
of November 1847.                                                         G. W. L. Smith

             We the subscribers two of the Justices of the Peace in and for
Dorchester County by virtue of a supplement to an Act entitled an Act
for the establishment and regulation of the Levy Courts in the several
Counties of this state have appointed William Hurlock Constable of
Election District N.o 2 in the place of G. W. L. Smith who has resigned.
Witness our hands & seals this 9.th day of November 1847.

                Know all men by these presents that we William Hurlock,
George Winthrop and Henry J. Bramble of Dorchester County in
the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the state
of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars
current money of the United States to be paid to the said State
or its certain Attorney; to the which payment well and truly to be
made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors & Administrators
jointly and severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals
and dated this 9.th day of November 1847.
