Joel Cornwell &                 Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that the
James R. Donoho               following Bill of sale was recorded on the 25.th day of
Ex.d      from         65         October A. D. 1850, To wit:
Commodore P. Donoho      Know all men by these presents that I, Commodore
                                           Perry Donoho, of Dorchester County & State of Maryland
for and in consideration of the sum of Thirteen hundred & ninety one cents,
lawful money of the United States, in hand paid by Joel Cornwell & James
R. Donoho, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby Acknowledged:  Have granted, bargained & sold, and by
these presents do grant, bargain & sell, unto the said Joel Cornwell and
James R. Donoho, their executors, Administrators and Assigns, one half
of the Schooner Oregon, burthen 40 33/95 tons, and also the Schooner Sky
burthen 57 79/95 tons, together with all of their respective Apparel and
furniture, row Boats, Anchors, Chaines &c &c to indemnify and keep harmless
the aforesaid Joel Cornwell and James R. Donoho as sureties upon the Guardian
Bonds of the said Commodore Perry Donoho for the children of
Alfred M. Lewis dec.d Viz:  Alfred M. Lewis, Louisa J. Lewis, Levin M. Lewis
and John J Lewis.  To have and to hold the said described Schooner Oregon
and Schooner Sky, with their apparel & furniture &c to the said Joel
Cornwell and James R. Donoho, their executors, Administrators & Assigns
forever; and the said Commodore Perry Donoho, for himself, his heirs, executors
and Administrators, the said Schooner aforesaid and apparel, furniture
&c &c unto the said Joel Cornwell and James R. Donoho, my executors
and Administrators ^against me the said Commodore Perry Donoho, my executors & administrators^ and against all and every other person or persons
whatsoever, shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth
day of October eighteen hundred and fifty (1850)
Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of
Geo. A. Z. Smith      W. T. Vickers                        C. Perry Donoho   (seal)

Dorchester County, State of Maryland, SS.   Be it remembered that
on this tenth day of October 1850, before the subscriber, a Justice of
the Peace for said County, appears Commodore                              and
acknowledges the above instrument of writing to be his act & deed,
according to the true intent and meaning thereof.

Received the 25.th day of October 1850 the sum of seventy five cents in lieu of a stamp on this Bill of sale

Ex.d    from    85      following Mortgage Bill of sale was recorded on the 28.th
William Whirrett       day of October A. D. 1850, To wit:
                                This Indenture made this Eleventh day of October
eighteen hundred and fifty between William Wherrett of Dorchester
County and State of Maryland of the one part, and Capt Shadrack
