Test W.m Rea Clk The State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was recorded on the Exam.d from 50 fifteenth day of July Anno Domini 1850, to wit: John Richardson & others Know all Men by these presents, that we John Richardson and {fifty cent Stamp} John W. D. Traverse of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland, in the full and just sum of Seven hundred and thirty four Dollars and sixty six cents current Money of the United States, to be paid to the said State or its Certain attorney to which payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, and each of us, our and each of our heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this eighth day of July in the year o four Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty. The Condition of the above obligation is such, that if the above bounden John Richardson appointed Collector of Dorchester County shall faithfully collect and pay the sum of Three Hundred sixty seven Dollars and sixty six cents Current Money of the United States into the Treasury of the State of Maryland on or before the first day of July Eighteen Hundred and fifty one to and for the use of the State then the above obligation to be void or else to be and remain in full force and virtue in law John Richardson (seal) Signed sealed and delivered in John W. Todd of the County and State aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Jerry Morine do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William H Todd his executors administrators and assigns the following property, to wit: one bay mare, one black mare, two cares 6 yoke of Stears, three Milk Cows, tow yerlings, tenn head of hogs, tenn head of Sheep, one Bay Colt |
