Twelve head of Cattle  one Yoke of Oxen  sixteen head of Hogs  one Ox Cart
Three Ploughs & two Harrows and Farming Utensils generally  Three Beds and
furniture  Two Mahogany Tables  Balance of House hold & Kitchen Furniture
one four wheeled Gig  To have and to hold all & singular the said mentioned
property, above bargained & sold, or mentioned or intended so to be, to the said William
Corkran, his heirs, executors, Administrators and Assigns forever.  In Witness whereof
I hereunto subscribe my name and affix my seal this 1.st day of April in the
year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred & fifty.
Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of               John A. Corkran   (seal)

                                              State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit:
On this the first day of April in the year Eighteen hundred & fifty, personally
appears before me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace of the State
of Maryland in and for the body of Dorchester County aforesaid, John A. Corkran,
party grantor in the above Bill of sale, and acknowledged the foregoing
Bill of sale to be his Act & deed, and I am satisfied, from my own knowledge,
that the said John A. Corkran, who professes to be the party grantor in the
above Bill of sale, is the same person who executed and acknowledged the
same before me.  At the same time personally appears William Corkran,
party grantee in the said Bill of sale, and made Oath on the Holy Evangely
of Almighty God that the above consideration, mentioned in the aforegoing
Bill of sale, is true and bona fide as therein set forth, according to
the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided.

Thomas H. Webb      Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that the following
Ex.d      from   60      Bill of sale was recorded on the 2.d day of April 1850, To wit:
Harriet Webb            {Stamp}   Know all men by these presents that I, Harriet
                                 {50 cts.}   Webb, of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland,
for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars, current money,
to me in hand paid by Thomas H. Webb, of County & State aforesaid at & before
the sealing & delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the said Harriet
Webb, do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents
do grant, bargain & sell, unto the said Thomas H. Webb, his heirs & Assigns, all
the goods & chattels hereinafter expressed, that is to say, one Negro Man Peter
1 ditto George   1 Negro Boy Robert   1 ditto Bill   1 ditto Charles   1 Negro Woman
Hannah   1 Negro Girl Leah, also 1 four wheeled Carriage   And I, the said
Harriet Webb, for myself, my heirs and Assigns or all & singular do sell & set over
the said Negroes unto the said Thomas H. Webb his heirs & Assigns against
me the said Harriet Webb, my Executors, Administrators & Assigns, and against
all and every other person or persons whatsoever, and shall & will forever
