221. W.m Y. Woolford Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that the following Paid Ex.d from 63 Bill of Sale was recorded on the 4.th day of February 1850, To wit: W.m Burton Know all men by these presents that I, William Burton, in consideration of the sum thirty two doll & fifty cent current money to me in hand paid by William Y Woolford of the County & state aforesaid at and before the sealing & delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained & sold and by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto the said William Y Woolford his Executors Administrators & Assigns the following property to wit one Yoke of Steers and Cart one Sow & six pigs all of which property is now in my possession To have and to hold the said described property above bargained & sold to the said William Y Woolford his Executors Administrators & Assigns forever to and their only proper use & benefit And I the said William Burton for myself my Executors and Administrators shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents to the said William Y Woolford his Executors and Administrators and against all & every other person persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 23d day of January 1850. Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of us his Fielder G Craig James Craig William + Burton (seal) mark State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: On this day of January 1850 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said State & County personally appeared William Burton and acknowledge the above instrument of writing or bill of sale to be his act & deed according to the true intent & meaning thereof, and the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided. Acknowledged before James Craig J P (seal) On this 23d day of January one thousand eight hundred & fifty personally appeared William Y Woolford and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that the above Bill of sale is true & bonafide Bill of sale and the consideration therein mentioned is just true ^as^ set forth in said paper Sworn before James Craig State of Maryland Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that the following Paid from Ex.d Bond &c was recorded on the 11.th day of February 1850. John S. Cornwell & others I William Delehay, do hereby resign the Office of Constable for the Town of Vienna in Dorchester County. Witness my hand this 9.th day of Feb.y A. D. 1850 W.
