and to hold all and singular the said goods, household stuff and
furniture, and other the Premises above bargained & sold, or mentioned or
intended so to be, to the said Louis Thomas, his executors, Administrators
and Assigns forever:  And I, the said John Thomas,  for myself, my
heirs, executors and Administrators, all and singular the said goods, household
stuff and furniture, and other the Premises, unto the said Louis
Thomas, his executors, Administrators and Assigns, against me the said
John Thomas, my executors and Administrators, and against all & every
other person or persons whatsoever, shall & will warrant & forever
defend by these presents; of all and singular which said goods,
house hold stuff and furniture, and other the premises, I, the
said John Thomas, have put the said Louis Thomas in
full possession by delivering to him, the said Louis Thomas,
one Cupboard at the sealing & delivering of these presents in
the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold, or
mentioned & intended hereby so to be, unto the said Louis Thomas,
as aforesaid.  In Witness whereof the said John Thomas hath
hereunto set his hand and seal the 16.th day December in the year
of Our Lord 1848
Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence       John Thomas   (seal)
of Noah Abbott.

                               Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit:
Be it remembered on this 16.th day of December in the year of Our
Lord 1848, personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the
Justices of the Peace, in and for said County, John Thomas
and Acknowledged the foregoing instrument of Writing or Bill
of sale to be his Act and deed, and delivered the same for the
uses and purposes therein mentioned, according to the Act of
Assembly in such case made and provided.
                               Before                     Noah Abbott  J. P.

On this 16.th day of December 1848, personally appeared Louis
Thomas, before me the subscriber, and made Oath that the consideration
set forth in the within Bill of sale is true and
bona fide.                  Sworn before               Noah Abbott  J. P.


State of Maryland              Be it remembered that the following Bond
    paid   from   Ex.d           was recorded on the 22.d day of December 1848.
