69 described property above bargained and sold to the said William E Harrison his executors administrators and assigns forever to his and there only proper use and benifit And I the said John Clifton for my self my executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents To the said William E Harrison his executors administrators and assigns the said described property against me my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the 25th day of January 1843 signed sealed and delivered John Clifton (seal) in the presence of Jas E Goslin Maryland Dorchester County To wit On this the 25th day of January 1843 Before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said county appears John Clifton and acknowledged the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the true Intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such cases made and provided William Moobray Be it remembered that the following bill of Fee paid from x.d Sale was recorded on 10th Feby 1843 to wit Jeremiah Beckwith Know all men by these presents that I Jeremiah Beckwith of Dorchester County and state of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of two Hundred and fifty Dollars current money to me in hand paid by William Moobray of the County and state aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said WIlliam Moobray his Executors administrators and assigns one Bay mare 10 years old called Nimble one Road mare 11 years old called Fanny one Bay mare 6 years old called Sally one Bay mare 4 years old called Nettle one Bay cold 2 years old called Charley one yoke of steers one ox cart three ploughs two Cultivators Harrows seventy five barrels of corn three stacks of top fodder three stacks of straw Eight sheep one blue sow and seven pigs one white sow and five shoats Fourteen Hundred pounds of pork fourty one bushels of wheat seeded and all my house hold and Kitchen furniture all of which property is now in my possession To have and to hold the same discribed property above bargained and sold to the said William Moobray his executors administrators and assigns forever to his and their only proper use and benifit and I the said Jeremiah Beckwith for my self my executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said William Moobray his executors administrators and assigns the said discribed property against me my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever Deli W Moobray 1 May 1848 G H |
