State in and for the said County George H Wingate and Acknowledged
the above bill of sale or instrument of writing to be his
act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned
                                                                Robert Bell   J. P.


Joseph R Stewart      Be it remembered that the following
Ex.d      from             Bill of Sale was recorded on the 6.th day
Zedekiah Willey        of March 1847, To wit:
                                 Know all men by these presents that I
Zedekiah Willey of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and Ninety
eight dollars to me in hand paid by Joseph R. Stewart of
the same County and State at and before the sealing & delivering
of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have
granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain
and sell unto the said Joseph R. Stewart, his Executors, Administrators
and Assigns all the goods, chattels, household stuff and
farming implements herein after particularly mentioned that
is to say one Yoke of well broken Oxen, one Yoke of unbroken
oxen, two milch Cows, two Hiefers, one bull, Six Ewes & lambs,
two Rams, one Ox Cart, fifteen Hogs, three Beds and furniture,
one plough, one Harrow, seven Barrels of Corn, two thousand pounds
of Blade fodder, three hundred pounds of Bacon, one shock
of flax, one Grindstone and all the balance of my household
and Kitchen furniture  All and singular said Goods, & Chattels
and house hold stuff are now standing and being on a certain
farm belonging to M.rs Eccleston, the widow of Thomas F. Eccleston
and now in the possession and occupation of the said Zedekiah Willey
To have and to hold the said goods and chattels, house hold stuff
and furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or
mentioned and intended so to be to the said Joseph R. Stewart
his Executors, Administrators and Assigns forever.  And I the said
Zedekiah Willey for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators & assigns
all and singular the said goods and chattels & house hold stuff
unto the said Joseph against me the said Zedekiah, my Executors
Administrators and against all and every other person whatsoever shall
and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and
singular which said goods & chattels, household stuff & other
premises I the said Zedekiah Willey have put the said Joseph
R. Stewart in full possession by delivering to him one Yoke of
Oxen at the sealing and delivery of these presents in the name
of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned
