                                              State of Maryland Dorchester County, To wit:
Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this twenty fourth day
of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty
six personally appeared the within named James Frazier before the subscriber
one of the State of Maryland Justices of the Peace in &
for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within and aforegoing
Bill of Sale or instrument of writing to be his Act and deed and
delivered the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned according
to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Act of
Assembly in such cases made and provided.      Acknowledged before
                                                                     W.m W. LeCompte   J. P.


Peter Wheeler      Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale
Ex.d   from          was recorded on the 3.d day of November 1846, To wit:
James Frazier      Know all men by these presents that I James
                           Frazier of Dorchester County for and in consideration
of the sum of one hundred dollars current money of Maryland
to me in hand paid by Peter Wheeler of said County at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged I the said James Frazier have bargained and sold,
conveyed and transfered and by these presents do bargain and sell,
convey and transfer unto the said Peter Wheeler, his heirs & Assigns
all and singular the Crop of wheat I now have seeded on the
Farm where I now reside saving and excepting fifteen bushels
which I hereby reserve for said wheat and which is to be measured
and delivered to me whenever the said Crop of wheat is garnered &
threshed out.   To have and to hold the said above described
property unto him the said Peter Wheeler, his heirs and Assigns
forever to his and their sole use and uses forever against me
the said James Frazier, my heirs and Assigns and against all
persons whatsoever to him the said Peter Wheeler his heirs and
assigns.  In Witness whereof I have hereto subscribed my name &
affixed my seal this fourth day of November 1846.
