366. State of M.d Be it remembered that the following Bond was Ex.d from recorded on the 22.d day of June 1846, To wit: Kendal M. Jacobs Know all men by these presents that we Kendal M. Jacobs, Levin Mowbray, Thomas H. Hicks and State of Maryland Stamp Turpin Wright of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland six are held and firmly bound unto the state of Maryland dollars in the full and just sum of Twenty thousand two hundred and fourteen dollars and Eighty four Cents current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs, executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this tenth day of June in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred & forty six The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden Kendal M. Jacobs appointed Collector of the Direct Tax for Dorchester County shall well and faithfully execute the Office of Collector of the Direct Tax for said County and the several duties required of him by law and shall well and truly account for and pay over to the Treasurer of Maryland the several sums of money which he shall receive or be accountable for by law at such times as the law shall direct then the above obligation to be void or else to be and remain in full force & virtue in law.
