326. Twenty barrels of Corn, three Stacks of Fodder, Six hundred pounds of Pork, one Bed and furniture and one set of chairs. To have and to hold the above mentioned property unto the said Robert Burton of Lovey, his heirs & Assigns to the only proper use and benefit and behoof of the said Robert Burton of Lovey, his heirs and Assigns forever Witness my hand and seal this 13.th day of December Eighteen hundred and forty five. Signed, sealed & delivered his in the Presence of William + Meekins (Seal) James Smith mark Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: on this 13.th day of December 1845 personally appeared William Meekins before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County and acknowledged the above Bill of Sale or instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning therein contained Acknowledged before James Smith James A. Stewart Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was Ex.d from recorded on the 16.th day of December 1845, To wit: John T. Taylor Know all men by these presents that I John T. Taylor for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seventy dollars to me in hand paid by James A. Stewart of Dorchester County. I have bargained, sold & delivered to said Stewart my Printing Establishment now in the Town of Cambridge including the Press, Type, Fixture and appertenances of every description together with all the profits of the establishment and the debts now due to the Newspaper called the Democrat and clear of all incumbrances and I hereby declare and warrant that I have a full and clear title to the said articles and I warrant the title to the same. To have and to hold the said property to the said James A. Stewart and his heirs and Assigns forever. In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this 16.th Dec.r 1845.
