323. are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or to its certain Attorney to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this fifth day of November 1845. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden David M. Todd shall well and faithfully execute the office of Constable in the Town of Cambridge in Dorchester County in all things appertaining thereto and shall also well and truly account for all monies placed in his hands for Collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of Money received by him agreeably to an Act of the General Assembly passed at November Session Eighteen hundred and nine entitled an Act relating to Constables Bonds and shall well and truly account for all money which he shall receive on Judgments ^and shall well and truly pay over the same and shall faithfully perform^ and perform all acts which he shall perform in virtue of his office in the said County in the State of Maryland then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue Signed, sealed & delivered in presence of David M. Hodson (seal) I Robert R Robertson a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County do hereby Certify that Robert Bell and Clement C. Waters this day appeared before me and took the following Oath. We Robert Bell and Clement C. Waters subscribing Witnesses to the within Bond do make Oath that the obligors mentioned in the said Bond do severally in our presence sign, seal and deliver the said Bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.
