310. Levin Griffin Be it remembered that the following Bill of Ex.d from Sale was recorded on the 1.st day of July 1845, To wit: William Applegarth Know all men by these presents that I William Applegarth of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of forty four dollars current money to me in hand paid by Levin Griffin of Talbot County in the said State at & before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said William Applegarth doth hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Levin Griffin his Executors, administrators and Assigns all the goods, house hold stuff, implements & furniture particular mentioned, expressed and contained in the schedule hereunto annexed that is to say one Mahogany Table, one Bureau, one Bed, Bedstead and furniture, Crop of Sweet Potatoes, Irish Potatoes, and Crop of Corn on the ground all & singular which said goods and chattels are and remaining standing and being in a certain messuage or tenement situate in Dorchester County and now in the occupation of the said William Applegarth. To have and to hold all and singular the said goods, house hold stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained & sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Levin Griffin, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever. And I the said William Applegarth, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators all and singular the said goods, house hold stuff and furniture and other the Premises unto the said Levin Griffin, his Executors, administrators and assigns against me the said William Applegarth, my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall & will warrant and forever defend by these presents of al land singular which said goods, house hold stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said William Applegarth have put the said Levin Griffin in full possession by delivering to him the said Levin Griffin one Table Spoon at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said Levin Griffin as aforesaid. In Witness whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this 1.st day of July 1845.
