306. firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this ninth day of June in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred & forty five The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound William B. Dail appointed Collector of Dorchester County shall well and faithfully execute his office and the several duties required of him by law and shall well and truly account for and pay to the Commissioners for Dorchester County or to their order the several sums of Money which he shall receive or be answerable for by law at such time as the law shall direct then the above obligation to be void or else to be and remain in full force and virtue in law. Dail (seal) Signed, sealed & delivered Thomas Dail (seal) in the presence of (Stamp) John Muir (seal) Jn.o Newton (six dollars) Levin Mowbray (seal) William Mears Dorchester County, To wit; Be it remembered that on this ninth day of June in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred and forty five personally appeared John Newton and William Mears subscribing Witnesses to the above Bond before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of the State of Maryland for Dorchester County aforesaid and severally made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that they did see William B. Dail, Thomas Dail, Thomas H. Hicks, John Muir and Levin Mowbray obigors in the said Bond sign, seal and deliver the said Bond as their respective Act and deed and that they the said John Newton & William Mears did subscribe their names as Witnesses thereto. Sworn before Robt Bell June the 9.th Anno Dom 1845 By the Commissioners Dorchester County the within Bond approved of by order of the Board Test William Rea Clk C. D. C. State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was from Ex.d recorded on the 9.th day of June 1845, To wit: W.m B. Dail & Know all men by these presents that we William G. W. Wingate B. Dail and George W. Wingate of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Five hundred and twenty dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said state or its certain Attorney to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves ^and each of us our and each of our^ our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents.
