283. State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was from Ex.d recorded on the 22.d of April 1845, To wit: Samuel R. Dunnock Know all men by these presents that we Samuel R. Dunnock Samuel I Meekins and Charles Shenton all of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said state or its certain attorney to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 21.st day of April A. D. 1845. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden Samuel Dunnock shall well and faithfully execute the office of Constable in Election District N.o 6 in Dorchester County in all things appertaining thereto and shall well and truly account for all monies placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him agreeably to an Act of the General Assembly passed at November Session 1809 entitled "An Act relating to Constables Bonds and shall well and truly account for all money which he shall receive on Judgments and shall well and truly pay over the same and shall faithfully perform all acts which he shall perform by virtue of his office in the said County in the State of Maryland then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue Samuel R. Dunnock (seal) Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of Samuel I Meekins (seal) John Muir Algernon Thomas Charles Shenton (seal) I W.m W. LeCompte a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County do hereby Certify that John Muir and Algernon Thomas this day appeared before me and took the following Oath; We John Muir and Algernon Thomas subscribing Witnesses to the within Bond do make Oath that the obligors mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign seal and deliver the said Bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.
