attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we
bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly & severally
firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals and dated this 21 day of
April 1845.  The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if
the above bounden William L. Drura shall well and truly execute the
Office of Constable of Election District N.o one in all things appertaining
thereto and shall also well and truly account for all monies placed in his
hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of Money
received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of full force &

                           Dorchester County, To wit:  On the 21 day of April
1845 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace
in and for the County aforesaid John Muir and Algernon Thomas and
made the following oath, To wit:  "We John Muir and Algernon
Thomas subscribing witnesses to the above bond do make oath that
William L. Drura, Jacob Wilson and John Reed obligors mentioned
in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & deliver
the said Bond as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned
Sworn before me on the say above mentioned.      Robt Bell
Approved by the Commissioners   April 21 1845.

    State                      Be it remembered that the following Bond
    from      Ex.d          was recorded on the 22.d of April 1845, To wit:
James E. Douglass      Know all men by these presents that we James E.
                                   Douglass, Jacob Wilson and John Reed of Dorchester
County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the
State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars
current money of the United States to be paid to the said state or its certain
attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done
we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and
severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals and dated
this 21 day of April 1845.  The Condition of the above Obligation is
such that if the above bounden James E. Douglass shall well &
truly execute the Office of Constable of Election District N.o one
in all things appertaining thereto and shall also well and truly
