State of Maryland      Be it remembered that the following Bond was
Ex.d      from             recorded on the 17.th day of March 1845, To wit:
William Wingate        Know all men by these presents that we William
       Coroner             Wingate and Thomas Dail of Dorchester County in the
                                 State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto
the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of two thousand six hundred
and sixty six dollars sixty six cents and two thirds of a cent current
money to be paid to the said State or its Certain Attorney.  To which payment
well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors
and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed
with our seals and dated this 17.th day of March in the year of Our
Lord eighteen hundred and forty five.  The Condition of the above
obligation is such that if the above bounden William Wingate will
well and truly execute the office of Coroner in all things thereunto belonging and
shall also well and faithfully execute and return all writs or other process
to his directed and shall also pay and deliver to the person or persons
entitled to receive the same all sums of Money and Tobacco, all goods
and chattels by him levied, seized or taken agreeably to the directions of the
writ or other process under which the same shall have been levied, seized or
taken and also shall keep and detain in safe custody all and every person
and persons committed to his custody or by him taken in execution or who
shall be committed for the want of bail without suffering them or any
of them to escape or depart from his custody and shall also satisfy and
pay all Judgments which shall be recorded against him as Coroner and
shall also well and truly execute and perform the several duties required of
or imposed upon him by the Laws of this state then this obligation to be
void and of none effect otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in

The above Bond and surety approved by the Orphans Court of Dorchester

W.m V. M. Edmondson    Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was
Ex.d        from                   recorded on the 24.th day of March 1845, To wit:
Sam.l McCollester            This Indenture made this nineteenth day of March
                                        in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
forty five between Samuel M.cCollester of Dorchester County and state of Maryland
of the one part and William V. M. Edmondson of the county and state aforesaid
of the other part  Whereas the said Samuel M.cCollester stands jointly indebted
to the said W. V. M. Edmondson in a note bearing date 12.th March 1845 for
