Emeline Wrotten      Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was
       from   x.d          recorded on the 23.d day of November 1844.  To wit:
William Tyler            Know all men by these presents that I William Tyler of
                                Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in consideration
of the sum of five dollars current money to me in hand paid by
Emeline Wrotten of the same County and state aforesaid at and before the sealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said William Tyler do
hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do
grant bargain and sell unto the said Emeline Wrotten her executors, administrators
and assigns all the goods house hold stuff implements and furniture particular
mentioned expressed and contained in the schedule hereunto annexed or hereinafter
expressed that is to say one Hand Mills, two pair Oyster Tongs, one Loom
gears slays and warpen bars, one Beauro, one Bofat, one cupboard in the
room, two chests, four Beds, Bedsteads and furniture, all the Tables, Table
Linen, Towels, Beds clothing &C, all the Crop of Corn in the field and Fodder on
the farm, all the wheat seeded in the ground, eight bushels not seeded, one dozen
chairs, all my Queens ware, Glass &C in my House, all my kitchen furniture &C,
ten head of Geese, twenty Chickens and other dunghill fowls, two timber chains,
three axes, all my Carpenters Tools and Plough and Harrows, and all my fatening
utentials, ox Yokes, three head of Cattle, twenty head of Sheep, five head of
Hogs, Greens in my Garden, one Bee hive, two Guns, Powder & Shot, Empty
Barrels, two Cannoes and Anchors, two Iron Wedges, two Warter Hogsheads,
one family Bible and all the residue of my Books, two Spining wheels and
all the wearsticks and nets &c &c  To have and to hold all & singular
the goods house hold stuff and furniture and other premises above bargained
and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Emeline Wrotten her
heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said goods house
hold stuff and furniture and other premises unto the said Emeline Wrotten
her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns and against me the said
William Tyler my executors and administrators and against all and
every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever
defend by these presents which said goods household stuff & furniture and
other premises I the said William Tyler have put the said Emeline Wrotten
in full possession by delivering of these presents in the name of the
whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended to be so
unto the said Emeline Wrotten as aforesaid.    In Witness whereof I
have set my hand and seal this first day of November in the year
of Our Lord eighteen hundred and forty four                  his
