217 mentioned. Given under my hand this 15.th day of April 1844. Charles Corkran State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was recorded on the from Ex.d 16.th day of April 1844. To wit: W.m K. Acworth Know all men by these presents that we William K. Acworth Algernon S. Pierey and Joel Cornwell of Dorchester County & State of Maryland are held and firmly bound to the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said state of Maryland or to its certain Attorney to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heir, executors and administrators jointly & severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 16.th day of April A. D. 1844. The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden William K. Acworth shall well and faithfully execute the Office of Constable in the Town of Vienna in Dorchester County in all things appertaining thereto and shall also well and truly account for all monies placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of Money received by him agreeably to an act of the General Assembly passed at November Session 1809 entitled an Act relating to Constables Bonds and shall well and truly account for all money which he shall receive of Judgments and shall well and truly pay over the same and shall faithfully perform all acts which he shall perform in virtue of his office in the said County in the state of Maryland then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue. Pierey (Seal) G Sewell Joel Cornwell (Seal) Josiah Kerr I Joel Cornwell a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County do hereby certify that Garrison Sewell and Josiah Kerr this day appeared before me and took the following Oath. We Garrison Sewell and Josiah Kerr subscribing witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that the obligors mentioned in said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & deliver the said bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was recorded on the from Ex.d 22.d day of April 1844, To wit: Walter Kirby Know all men by these presents that we Walter Kirby Joseph Flint and William Kirby of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the said State of Maryland in the full and just sum of two thousand six hundred and sixty six dollars and sixty six and two third cents current money to be paid to the said state or its certain Attorney to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs |
