on the back of the foregoing Bond was the following endorsement.  To wit:
State of Maryland from W.m B. Dail Shffs Bond   Dorchester County Court October
Term 1843   The within Bond and security approved by the Court.  Ara Spence
                                                                   William Tingle, Brice K Goldsborough


Martin L. Wright      Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale and recorded
    from      Ex.d        on the 7.th day of November 1843, To wit:
William D. Barron     Know all men by these presents that I William D. Barron
                                 of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland, for and in
consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars current money to me in hand paid
by Martin L. Wright of the same County in the State aforesaid at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said William
D. Barrow do hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained and sold, and by
these presents do grant, bargain & sell unto the said Martin L. Wright his
Executors, administrators and assigns all the present crop of Corn standing or
being upon the Farm in Black Water where I cultivate this present year estimated
at about one hundred and forty Barrels more or less as well as all the
provender on said Farm, such as Blade fodder, top fodder, and wheat straw,
all the Corn and Corn Blades on the lots I own and and cultivate at Church Creek
this present year supposed to be near about ten Barrels Corn more or less also
one sulky or Buggy and Harness all and singular which said goods and
chattels or Corn provender and sulky or Buggy & harness and other the premises
above bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be to the said
Martin L. Wright his executors, administrators and assigns forever:  And I the
said William B. Barron for myself my heirs, executors and administrators
all and singular the said goods and chattels, Corn, fodder, Straw & Sulky
or Buggy & harness and other the premises unto the said Martin L. Wright his
executors and administrators and assigns against me the said William D.
Barron my executors and administrators and against all and every other person
or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these
presents; of all and singular which said goods and chattels, corn, fodder,
straw & sulky or Buggy & harness and other the premises I the said William
D. Barron have put the said Martin L. Wright in full possession by delivering
to the said Martin L. Wright one bushel of Corn at the sealing and
delivery of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained
and sold or meant mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said Martin
L. Wright as aforesaid.  In Witness whereof I the said William D. Barron have
hereunto set my arms and affixed my seal the twenty first day of October one
thousand eight hundred and forty three
