AMENDMENTS TO SENATE BILL 230/HOUSE BILL 260
(First Reading File Bill)

Amendment No. 1:

On page 73, in line 24, after "health", insert: "; and further provided, that the
foregoing restrictions shall be of no force and effect if SB 311 or HB 482 is enacted and
the enacted bill contains a provision that requires the Secretary of Human Resources to
revise the Statewide schedule of AFDC benefits by eliminating the increment in cash
benefits to be paid to a recipient under the AFDC program for which the recipient would
otherwise be eligible as a result of the birth of a dependent child"
