(B) CONSUMER PRICE INDEX.

"CONSUMER PRICE INDEX" MEANS THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (ALL URBAN
CONSUMERS — UNITED STATES CITY AVERAGE — ALL ITEMS) AS OF DECEMBER 31
AS PUBLISHED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, BUREAU OF LABOR
STATISTICS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 73B, §§ 2-413(d), 2-415(e)(3), 3-410(d),
3-412(e)(3), 6-410(d), 7-409(d), 8-405(b)(5) and (c)(5), and 10-221(b)(4),
and, as they related to the description of the Consumer Price Index, §§

(C)' INITIAL ALLOWANCE.

"INITIAL ALLOWANCE" MEANS A BASIC ALLOWANCE OR THE ALLOWANCE
ELECTED UNDER §§ 21-402 AND 21-403 OF THIS ARTICLE.
