AN ACT concerning

Fire Prevention Code

FOR the purpose of adopting a certain edition of life safety standards; amending certain
life safety standards, and providing that reckless violations of the Fire Safety Law
which create substantial risk of death or injury to large groups of individuals shall be
subject to a certain civil fine.

Human Relations Commission

FOR the purpose of clarifying certain provisions of the Code relating to discrimination in
housing and residential real estate transactions; making it a discriminatory housing
practice to fail to construct certain multifamily dwellings in accordance with the
Building Code; clarifying an exemption for certain senior housing; prohibiting
discrimination in the purchasing of loans; and allowing the Commission to take
interrogatories and depositions.
