AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of

-    allowing existing structures that would otherwise become nonconforming in the
CBD-0.5 Zone to continue as conforming structures;

-    allowing existing uses that would otherwise become nonconforming to continue
as conforming uses for a seven-year amortization period; and

-    allowing limited expansion of existing buildings under certain circumstances.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance.
Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-C-6                                  "Central Business District Zones"

Section 59-C-6.24                                "Existing buildings and building permits"

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of

-    permitting building heights of up to 200 feet in the CBD-2 zone under the
optional method for purposes of accomplishing urban renewal and sector plan
objectives.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance,
Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-C-6                                  "Central Business District Zones"
