Laws of Montgomery County, 1993

AN ACT to:

(1)     modify the law establishing the County's housing policy to reflect current
conditions and terminology and eliminate certain requirements, procedures,
and findings;

(2)     repeal certain requirements, restrictions, and findings relating to the location
of certain government-assisted housing;

(3)     strengthen the County's policy of dispersing affordable housing throughout
the County;

(4)     abolish the Housing Coordinating Committee and the Citizens' Housing
Advisory Committee;

[[(3)]] (5) revise the requirements for submission of [[an annual]] a housing report;

[[(4)]] (6) repealing obsolete language and make stylistic improvements in the law
establishing a County housing policy; and

[[(5)]] (7) generally amend the law establishing a County housing policy.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to:

(1)     revise the schedule for the preparation and adoption of the Annual Growth
Policy; and

(2)     revise and clarify the process by which the Annual Growth Policy may be
adopted and amended.
