AN ORDINANCE concerning:

Personnel - Implementation of Negotiated Agreements

FOR the purpose of implementing negotiated agreements with bargaining units by
providing for full vesting in pension benefits by detention officers and personnel
after completion of five years of credited service; amending the definition of
uniformed officer; including Deputy Sheriffs in the definition of uniformed officer;
and providing that classified employees may use up to three days of earned
disability leave per year to care for a non-dependent parent or non-dependent
child.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments

Article 7, § 6-101(a); and Article 8, §§ 1-101(m) and 1-303(c)(1)
