Charter being a part of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended),
which article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the Town of Cheverly, whereby
Section C-6 of the Charter of the Town of Cheverly, Maryland is amended to provide for
ward boundaries within newly annexed parcels of land.

Resolution of the Village Council of Section 3 of the Village of Chevy Chase
adopted pursuant to Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland, Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and the Charter of Section 3 of the Village of
Chevy Chase to amend Section 501 of Article V "General Powers" of the Charter of
Section 3 of the Village of Chevy Chase so as to authorize the Council to exercise any
power or perform any function which is not denied to it by the Constitution of Maryland,
the Charter or any applicable law.

Pursuant to Resolution 12-1292 by the Montgomery County Council certifying the
favorable results of the referendum on the incorporation of the special taxing district of
Chevy Chase View under the proposed charter and the results of the special election of
the officials for Chevy Chase View.
