H.B. 380

(7) TO COOPERATE AND CONSULT WITH THE STATE BOARD OF VICTIM
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE ADOPTION OF REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE
USE OF MONEYS THAT ARE CREDITED OR APPROPRIATED TO THE VICTIM AND
WITNESS PROTECTION AND RELOCATION FUND ESTABLISHED UNDER ARTICLE 27,
§
770 OF THE CODE; AND

(8) (7) TO ADMINISTER THE VICTIM AND WITNESS PROTECTION AND
RELOCATION FUND PROGRAM ESTABLISHED UNDER ARTICLE 27, § 770 OF THE CODE,
INCLUDING CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF THE RELEASE OF ANY MONEYS
FROM THE FUND PROGRAM; AND

(8) TO CONSULT WITH THE STATE BOARD OF VICTIM SERVICES ON THE
ADMINISTRATION OF THE VICTIM AND WITNESS PROTECTION AND RELOCATION
PROGRAM.

(b)     The State's Attorneys' Coordinator shall submit an annual report on the
activities of the office:

(1)     To the Governor;

(2)     To the Attorney General;

(3)     Subject to § 2-1312 of the State Government Article, to the General
Assembly;

(4)     To the State's Attorneys' Coordination Council; [and]

(5)     To the Maryland State's Attorneys' Association, Inc.; AND

(6)      TO THE STATE BOARD OF VICTIM SERVICES.

(c)      The State's Attorneys' Coordinator shall meet and confer regularly with the
Attorney General, the State's Attorneys, and the State's Attorneys' Coordination
Council.

41D.

(a) The  State's Attorneys' Coordination Council is created. It consists of:

(1)     The Attorney General;

(2)     The State's Attorney for Baltimore City;

(3)     The State's Attorney for Baltimore County;

(4)     The State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County;

(5)     The State's Attorney for Prince George's County;

(6)     The State's Attorney for Montgomery County;

(7)     The State's Attorney from either Howard, Carroll, or Harford County
who is chosen by a majority vote of the State's Attorneys of these counties;
