SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

Dear Mr. President:                                                                                         

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed Senate Bill 515.

This emergency bill would allow Sailwinds Park, Inc. in Dorchester County to obtain and
renew a Class C (club) beer, wine, and liquor license; as long as no individual makes a
profit from the operation of the Park.

House Bill 900, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 26,
1994, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 515.

(Sailwinds Park, Inc.)

FOR the purpose of permitting in Dorchester County Sailwinds Park, Inc., to obtain a
Class C beer, wine and liquor license under certain circumstances; making this Act
an emergency measure; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Dorchester
County.
